Keynote Speakers
Dr. Walter Greenleaf, Neuroscientist and Medical Technology Developer, Stanford University
Walter Greenleaf, Ph.D., is a neuroscientist and medical technology developer working at Stanford University. He is considered a leading authority in the fields of digital medicine, wearable sensors, and medical virtual reality technology. Walter is an advisor to Stanford University’s Virtual Human Interaction Lab (VHIL), the Stanford Wearable Electronics (eWear) Program, the Stanford VR & Immersive Technology (VR-IT) Clinic, as well as the Stanford Medical Mixed Reality Center. In addition to his research and development work at Stanford, he serves on the Science Advisory Board for healthcare product companies such as Abbott Labs, Penumbra, and Interaxon. Walter was the founding Chief Science Officer for Pear Therapeutics, a pioneering company in SaMD. He currently advises several venture investment firms and healthcare networks about digital health assessment and therapeutic systems.
